On March 14, 2022, PharMerica, a pharmacy services company, announced that it had experienced a data breach of private health and other information for almost six million customers. Specifically, it announced that private information such as a person’s name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, medications and health insurance information, may have been taken by a third party.
